You can see my profession bits on a different page but maybe you want to know a bit about me as a person?
I have lived in Chilcompton for 17 years now and started my private practice there in 2012. Seems ages ago but also I still feel quite new to this as every new client brings something amazing. I am still learning about people with every session that I do.
I have a dog called Pepper. She is a rescue dog and usually watches every client come into the house just to make sure she recognises you.
When you first come for any initial appointment, I usually greet you at the gate and walk you to the door. Pepper is usually watching through the window and seems to know that you are 'allowed' to come into the house. Next time you come she will happily watch you but not bark. Amazingly, if you are a courier, someone selling door to door, she knows she hasn't seen you before and will bark.
Every New Year, I don't do New Year's Resolutions but make a list of things that I know I enjoy, wish to try, want to experience, places I would love to visit, etc. I try to tick these off throughout the year and, if I love something, I put that on the next year to remind myself to do it again. I guess I focus on putting things 'into' the next year 'rather than the feeling of 'taking things out' like cutting out chocolate or giving up alcohol.
